Vietnam-Korea Cultural Exchange Festival: “Vietnam-Korea Friendship Culture Day 2024” in Ho Chi Minh City

On October 26 and 27, the “Vietnam-Korea Friendship Culture Day 2024” will take place on Le Loi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

This year, the event is combined with the “2024 Hanbok Promotion Week” and the “2024 Project for Promoting Korean Traditional Products Abroad,” offering Ho Chi Minh City residents the chance to experience wearing Hanbok, explore traditional Korean cultural products, and enjoy a Hanbok-Ao Dai fashion show.

During the two-night performance program of the “Vietnam-Korea Friendship Culture Day 2024,” the audience will enjoy: A Hanbok-Ao Dai fashion show featuring Hanbok designers Song Hyemi (Seodamhwa) and Kim Youngjin (Tchai Kim), and Ao Dai designer Thach Linh; Explosive stage performances by beloved singers from Vietnam and Korea, such as Ricky (PICKUS), PHƯƠNG LY, and JSOL; Traditional Vietnam-Korea cultural performances, including traditional-modern Korean Gugak and Vietnamese conical hat dances; K-pop dance cover performances and a special act from dancers from the show “Street Woman Fighter Vietnam,” as well as a “sound party” featuring Korean DJs.

Additionally, attendees will be able to engage in a variety of exciting Korean cultural activities, such as K-pop dance workshops, K-beauty makeup tutorials, sampling Korean cuisine, and participating in Vietnam-Korea cultural and tourism quiz shows.

Notably, attendees can enjoy uniquely authentic Korean experiences at the K-pop booth and the Kimchi promotional booth, showcasing signature Korean cultural elements like K-pop and Kimchi.

The program promises to deliver unique and unforgettable experiences for Ho Chi Minh City residents.
